Continued support throughout COVID-19
Over the course of the pandemic, we have received numerous questions from you about the impact of COVID-19 on the OMERS Primary Pension Plan (Plan), including questions about the recent introduction of a paid infectious disease emergency leave (Paid IDEL) that some of you may be eligible for.
We have compiled the most common questions in an FAQ that is available on the COVID-19 Update: Information for Members page on omers.com. Given ongoing developments, OMERS will update this page with new information as it becomes available.
We have also continued to update OMERS Community. This online hub provides information, resources and stories on the topics you’ve told us you care about. Recently, our Chief Medical Officer Dr. James Aw answered questions about COVID-19 vaccines, and we shared the story of how Bruce Power is supporting vaccination rollout in Ontario.
